The Planning Commission is the planning agency for the City of Ridgecrest and includes five members who are appointed by the City Council. The Commission has a variety of duties; including the review and recommendation of Land Use policy to the City Council, guardian to the city's General Plan and review of public and private development. Planning Commissioners are also members of the city's operational committees.
